Costco has refuted claims made by Sean "Diddy" Combs' lawyer regarding the music mogul's alleged purchase of baby oil in bulk from their stores for his notorious parties.
The company spokesperson informed TMZ that none of their US locations stock the product.
The statement was issued a week after Combs was arrested and documents from raids on his Miami and Los Angeles homes were made public.
According to the court documents, Homeland Security investigators discovered 1,000 bottles of baby oil in March.
Combs' attorney, Marc Agnifilo , had previously stated that the rapper "buys in bulk" due to his "big house."
In a preview of TMZ's upcoming documentary, "The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment," Agnifilo responded to Levin's suggestion that many believed the baby oil to be "lubricant for an orgy" by saying, "I guess. I don't know what you need a thousand — one bottle of baby oil goes a long way," reported Page 6.
On September 17, Combs was charged with racketeering conspiracy , sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is currently being held without bail at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center .
"Have you sat in the parking lot of a Costco and see what people walk out of there with?” he asked on Wednesday, to which Harvey Levin replied, “Not a thousand bottles of baby oil."
Elsewhere in the clip, the lawyer said, “I don’t know where the number a thousand came [from] … I can’t imagine it’s thousands. I’m not really sure what the baby oil has to do with anything.”
Agnifilo maintains that his client is "an innocent man with nothing to hide" and plans to testify in his defense.
Combs' legal troubles began last year when his ex-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, filed a lawsuit against him. Since then, he has been the subject of multiple sexual assault lawsuits.
