Vice president Kamala Harris narrowly defeated former president Donald Trump in the US territory of Guam but this poll doesn't count toward the Electoral College. But this raw poll shows the mood and always predicts the popular vote winner rightly which means the candidate who wins the Guam straw poll becomes the winner of the popular vote. According to reports, Harris defeated Trump 49.45% to 46.22%. In 2020, Joe Biden defeated Trump in this poll by 14 per centage points.

Guam is a US island territory in Micronesia in the Western Pacific and not a state and hence it is not eligible to elect members of the Electoral College. Its straw poll results, which have been held every four years since 1980, are non-binding and don't count towards the Electoral College.

In 2016, Hillay won the straw poll with 71.6 per cent and Trump was at 24.2 per cent; In 2020, Biden won the poll with 55.4 per cent and Trump was at 41.9 per cent.

The first result of US presidential elections came from the tiny village of Dixville Notch in New Hampshire's northern tip. It had six voters and it only took 12 minutes to count and certify the votes of those six people of this community near the Canadian border. It was a 3-3 tie between Trump and Harris. Dixville Notch's result, though small, marked a significant shift from 2020 when all five votes went to Joe Biden.

Dixville Notch, in the White Mountains, started its early voting in 1960. The tradition originated in the nearby town of Hart’s Location, to accommodate rail workers who had to be at work before normal voting hours.

The Guardian reported that Dixville does not have any fame to predict the eventual winner. In 2016, Hillary Clinton beat Trump in this village by four votes to two.
