US President Donald Trump on Wednesday took another fresh swipe at veteran rock star Bruce Springsteen , taking their public feud to a new level.

The MAGA supremo shared a doctored video on social media showing himself hitting Springsteen with a golf ball.

The video was posted on both Trump’s Truth Social, begins with footage of Trump swinging a golf club and hitting a ball. It then cuts to a clip of Springsteen tripping and rolling onto the stage during one of his concerts. In the edited version, a golf ball is added to the scene, making it look as if Trump’s shot caused Springsteen’s fall.

The video follows a series of harsh exchanges between the two, which began after Springsteen’s recent critical remarks about the Trump administration during the opening show of his European tour.

“The America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration,” Springsteen said.

He went on to accuse Trump’s government of “abandoning the world’s poorest children to sickness and death ... taking sadistic pleasure in the pain that they inflict on loyal American workers,” and rolling back civil rights in the United States.

Springsteen plans to include these comments about Trump on an EP he will release based on the recent concert, according to Variety.

The Trump administration initially responded with a statement: “the 77 million Americans that elected President Trump disagree with elitist and out-of-touch celebrities like Bruce Springsteen.”

Trump later took to Truth Social himself to reply, calling Springsteen “overrated” and a “jerk.”

“Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy — Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden , a mentally incompetent FOOL, and our WORST EVER President, who came close to destroying our Country,” Trump wrote.

Springsteen is not the only musician to face Trump’s criticism. The president also targeted pop star Taylor Swift , who recently completed a record-breaking two-year tour. Trump posted that she is no longer “hot” since he declared on social media that he “HATE[s] TAYLOR SWIFT” following her endorsement of Kamala Harris .

Several other musicians, including Neil Young and Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder , have publicly supported Springsteen and Swift.

“Bruce and thousands of musicians think you are ruining America. You worry about that instead of the dyin’ kids in Gaza,” Neil Young wrote on his website. “That's your problem. I am not scared of you.”

At a concert in Pittsburgh on Sunday, Vedder addressed Trump’s attacks on Springsteen.

“All that we heard were personal attacks and threats that nobody else should try to use their microphones or voice in public or they’ll be shut down,” Vedder told the audience.

This week, Trump also accused Kamala Harris of "illegally paying millions" to Beyoncé for an endorsement under the "veil of entertainment." He called for a fresh probe into these payments.
