Bharti Airtel has launched a new prepaid recharge plan priced at ₹451, targeting cricket fans and entertainment enthusiasts during the ongoing IPL 2025 season. The new offering includes 50GB of high-speed data and a 90-day complimentary JioHotstar subscription, allowing users to stream live IPL matches, popular TV shows, movies, and more.

Airtel ₹451 Prepaid Recharge: Key Benefits

The new ₹451 recharge is a data-only voucher and does not include voice or SMS benefits. It offers:

  • 50GB of high-speed 4G/5G data

  • 30-day validity for the data voucher

  • 90-day JioHotstar subscription (mobile only)

Under Airtel’s Fair Usage Policy (FUP), once the 50GB data is exhausted, users can continue browsing at a reduced speed of 64 Kbps. This pack requires an active base plan to function and cannot be used as a standalone recharge.

JioHotstar Subscription Details

The complimentary JioHotstar plan included with the recharge offers ad-supported streaming on a single mobile device at 720p resolution. This plan is typically priced at ₹149/month when purchased separately.

JioHotstar, the unified streaming service born from the merger of JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar, gives users access to:

  • Live IPL 2025 matches

  • 300,000+ hours of movies, TV shows, anime, and documentaries

  • Select international and regional content

Airtel users opting for this pack can stream content on both mobile and connected TVs, depending on their base plan capabilities and the JioHotstar app integration.

Competing Offers From Jio and Vi

Airtel’s ₹451 pack comes amid a flurry of IPL-themed recharge plans from rival telcos:

  • Reliance Jio’s ₹100 recharge offers the most affordable access to 90-day JioHotstar streaming with limited data.

  • Vodafone Idea (Vi) offers a similar bundle with JioHotstar access via one data voucher and two standalone prepaid packs.

As telecom operators compete for viewership during the cricket season, these plans aim to attract users looking for budget-friendly entertainment and data options.
